About Us

I am a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) tutor and Executive Function Coach with over two decades of experience training and mentoring students. I’ve worked with students ranging from kindergarten to the collegiate level. I have helped countless students with math, chemistry, biology, and various sciences. Working with small groups and one on one, both online and in person, has honed my ability to identify gaps in students’ knowledge, understanding, and reasoning. For some students areas of STEM can feel overwhelming, therefore I believe it is imperative to meet students where they are so that they feel seen and heard. I accomplish this by partnering with students and parents to customize the tools and approaches I use. As a team, we can work together to close those gaps so that the student can excel. For students who are already excelling, I design a personalized curriculum to provide stimulation and enrichment that students would not have access to in a traditional classroom. Whether they are coming to me for remediation or enrichment, I develop a custom approach so that the student’s needs are met and we work together towards the goal our Academic Success Guide/Parent/Student team has agreed on. The passion that led me to create STEM Transformations is rooted in my desire to provide students with personalized curriculum infused with much needed Executive Function training, where they can also work one on one with a human, not a programmed AI model.​
